07/04/2008 - 2007-2008 Statistics
Despite losing workers and projects during 2007-2008, and with the possibility of further cutbacks, figures for 1 April 2007 - 31 March 2008 show an ongoing need for WAIMON's services.
26/03/2008 - Fancy a Challenge?
WAIMON is currently seeking volunteers. Volunteering can be extremely rewarding and may also help women back into the workplace. Our volunteers play an important part in the organisation, and without them we would not be able to provide such a dedicated service. Whilst we are seeking new volunteers, we also wish to thank our existing ones who do an excellent job including taking part in on-call, providing support to women and children and carrying out office duties.
26/03/2008 - Out of Hours Emergency Helpline
Our Out of Hours Emergency Helpline is staffed on a voluntary basis, by workers and volunteers, outside normal working hours.
09/06/2007 - Freedom Programme
Are you a woman who has left an abusive relationship? Do you want to avoid getting in to an abusive relationship again? Would you like to better understand the tactics used by abusers? Would you like to attend a confidential support group with women who have had similar experiences to yourself?
